A great solution for an expensive hand held game system.
My son was not able to charge his NEW PSP. We sent his system back to be serviced and it still did not work,
nor were they able to supply new charger.
We shopped around and found this charger on Amazon.
It was easy to determine it was compatible with his PSP and the price was Right!
The item arrived exactly as schedule.
He is now playing and I am satisfied.

This is hardly a viable replacement for the original charger. It feels extremely flimsy and is not the same charger shown on the product page, but instead a generic charger. Additionally, the charger’s package indicates it’s intended for use with the PSP 2000/3000, and is not compatible with the original 1000 model.
