i like the idea not carrying UMDs and a UMD CASE AROUND. i **** the UMD case it only holds like 8 games. and some of my UMDs broke too.

The $250 required for a download only device with limited capabilities of accessing games is outrageous. Also, loyal United States customers are being left out of the “PSP Go Rewards scheme”. Not to mention, the new memory card and single analog stick are part of the system’s shortcomings. Jeff Bakalar’s recommendation should be taken for anyone that is unsure of whether it is necessary to purchase the PSP Go. In my opinion the PSP Go spells out failure on Sony’s behalf.

The reason why I sold my original PSP a few years back was because there was only one game for it that I found to be a truly modern handheld game; that was Splinter Cell Essentials, which used a modified version of the Double Agent engine, and bridged the story gap between DA and Conviction.
But now it seem like the PSP has more, and better, titles, like Gran Turismo, Metal Gear, SOCOM: Navy SEALs, GRAW, and Rainbow 6 Vegas.
The improved selection makes me reconsider. It could be promising.

seems like a cool concept. i won’t buy this particular model, but if they ever came out with a psp 2 with upgraded graphics i’d be tempted to pick up one, right now, i’m sick of psp and ds/ the techonology running it is too old to keep me interested.

UMD games you’ll have to buy again im positive….they really, really, REALLY shouldve made the controller part of the slide thicker…i cant grip that! drop it in the frickin toilet!!

you buy games off the playstation store on the PSP by buying prepaid cards from stores like EB games. One thing about the PSP Go is that it has 16GB internal memory. Another thing i like about it, the buttons are at on the bottom which helps a lot because when you play game, your screen won’t get greasy from your hands. If there is a way to transfer your UMDs to the PSP Go, that will be good. If your not sure if you wanna get this PSP, then wait till christmas for the prices to come down.

no they abandoned the umd drive so people with umd games cant play them on the psp go also sony orignally was gonna let you be able to downlload the games you already have but decided not to so you have to buy all your old games again

they made it so light and small, but they could have put one of the useless features useable. They shouldve put a camera. the photo icon has always been there, and there are a few psp cameras but they were external. just saying, would be better if it had the camera.
